Dawn & Phil – Wedding at Langley Castle, Hexham

Dawn & Phil share a passion for travelling.  After working hard for a number of years, Dawn & Phil decided to take a year out to explore the world.  They visited Hong Kong, Malaysia, Cambodia, China, Thailand and many more.  In a way, I feel that I have met Dawn & Phil before, maybe it is because they understand a bit about where I come from?

Dawn & Phil’s wedding was held at the beautiful Langley Castle in Hexham.  Warm, cosy affair with lace & candles as the wedding’s Vintage theme.  Each guests’ table was named after the place that they have travelled together, and a photograph of themselves at that place.

Dawn’s mother helping her to put her shoes on.  I love this moment.  It’s called “unconditional love”; no matter how old your daughter is, even if she’s a grown adult, you’ll never stop loving and looking after her.  No wonder they say one of the greatest love in this world is the love of a mother.

My God!  Only a tender age but already a professional at digital photography.

This little boy is just so cute, I couldn’t resist taking this shot.  He looked so serious and professional, checking every shot that he’s taken.  “Have I got the shot?”

Dawn’s mum is such a humourous person.  She has the ability to make everyone in the room laugh!

From humourous to heart-warming.  Aww… what a lovely speech.

One of the most touching moments in a wedding is when the groom confesses publicly how much he loves his wife, and has found “the one” to spend the rest of his life with.  Not many people can find true love in this world, and I am happy to be able to witness and capture this moment.  Dawn’s mum was also touched by Phil’s speech.
