Football Legend Alan Shearer & Newcastle School for Boys sets Guinness World Record!
I was very excited to be the photographer at this The Guinness World Record event for The Most Selfies Taken in 3 minutes! Pupils from Newcastle School for Boys and former England football star Alan Shearer took part in the event on the day. It was a fun day to be had by all, an opportunity to break a world record and also to raise awareness for The Alan Shearer Foundation: a charity dedicated to helping families coping with disabilities. Alan Shearer is from Newcastle, and used to play for Newcastle United Football Club. When I stepped into Nudo, the Noodle Bar, the first time when the restaurant opened, I felt a sense of “déjà vu”. Newcastle Embroiders’ Guild Exhibition – 10th May 2008
I was recently appointed to photograph the Newcastle-upon-Tyne Embroiderers’ Guild Exhibition held at the Cathedral Church of St Nicholas in Newcastle, running from Friday 9 May to Monday 12 May. This exhibition was a joint exhibition showcasing the work of the Newcastle-upon-Tyne Embroiderers’ Guild and the Newcastle Cathedral Broderers, with both contemporary and traditional, ecclesiastical and secular works on display. RIBA Corporate Launch Event – 25th April 2008
I am honoured when I was asked to be at a new product launch event (NBS Perspective) hosted by the NBS. NBS is part of the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects), they provide innovative specification and information solutions to construction industry professionals.
