Helen & Simon – Wedding at Gisborough Hall, Guisborough

I met Helen & Simon when I photographed Kate & Dean’s wedding in August last year.  I remember chatting to Simon briefly during that wedding.  Two months later, Simon wrote to ask about my availability on his own ‘big’ day on 25th April this year.  I am honoured to be asked to be their wedding photographer.  Helen & Simon had a church wedding at the St. Francis of Assisi, followed by reception at Gisborough Hall.  Both venues were beautiful, grand and historical.

This is the first wedding where I brought my second photographer/assistant, Tommy with me.  Tommy is not only a great friend, but also a great all-round photographer.  In the recent years, Tommy went away to have babies (technically, it’s his wife of course!), so Tommy’s photography journey took a standstill, but when asked if he’d like to come and help me in this assignment, he agreed.  So I’d like to thank and give credit to Tommy for some of the wonderful photographs he’s taken for this wedding.

My sincere thank you also to Helen & Simon for having us at the wedding.  I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, and I hope you like these photographs.
I love this shot of Helen looking down at her dress.  This was taken in the morning before the ceremony.

The beautiful wedding dress.

Confetti time!  A great candid moment photographed by Tommy.

Another one by Tommy – I love this detail shot of the classic Rolls Royce car.

Tommy’s eye for landscape is fantastic – this is Guisborough Hall in Spring.

Simon is so natural at the Groom’s speech.
