Catherine & Alisdair – Wedding at Moot Hall, Newcastle
I did not know that Catherine and Alisdair are great “helpers” of the society, until later when I found out that Catherine is a doctor and Alisdair works for a charity to help cure mental illnesses.
I had a very enjoyable day photoshooting their wedding, which was cosy, intimidate and very classy. It began with the civil marriage ceremony at The Moot Hall, followed by a lunch reception at the Pan Haggerty restaurant at Quayside at Newcastle. Their celebrations continued onto the next day with a dinner at the Brasserie Black Door. Unfortunately when Catherine asked if I could photograph the next day’s celebrations, I could not make it due to myself already being booked for another wedding.
Thank you Catherine and Alisdair for having me at the wedding. I hope you like these photographs!
A touching father-and-daughter moment.
Beginning of the ceremony accompanied with beautiful classical music.
Testing testing 1-2-3…
The beautiful fully bloomed Cherry Blossom petals doubles up as confetti. These are REAL petals for confetti!
Group shots should be fun!
I love this shot – it is very heart-warming to see a father & son moment like this. I couldn’t resist taking this shot. It is not often that you see a father constantly holding a child (it is usually done by the mother). No wonder his son is smiling so happily knowing how much he is loved. Love his cute little dimples too.
He wants to lie down now, but daddy still wants to hold him.
I love this wedding invitation card.
Tables all set for a sumptuous meal at The Pan Haggerty Restaurant at Quayside, Newcastle.
Guests enjoying themselves during the wedding breakfast.
