Caroline & Andrew – Pre-wedding in Edinburgh

When Andrew first contacted me, he expressed that he would like a pre-wedding session with his future wife, Caroline.  He explained that after being with Caroline for 3 years, they rarely have photographs of themselves taken together, and now before they become husband & wife,  Andrew would like to have a set of photographs of themselves together to capture this moment in time.  I thought to myself: this is one romantic man.

After meeting Andrew, Caroline fell in love with his hometown, Edinburgh so they have chose the beautiful Edinburgh, Scotland, as their pre-wedding location.

Although Andrew works as a consultant for Microsoft, he is also a freelance photographer so we had a great conversation chatting about photography.  I do not know how to express my gratitude to Andrew and Caroline for they treated us so well in Edinburgh;  they wanted us to rest well before and after the photoshoot so they put us up in the beautiful Dakota hotel for 2 nights, and treated us to delicious banoffee pies, Caroline calls it the “best banoffee pie in the world”.

The day after the photoshoot, we visited the wedding venue, Dundas Castle with Caroline & Andrew.   The venue is spectacular, just like a location from a fairytale.  I am looking forward to this day!
