Hong Kong Wedding Highlights of the Day

This video summarises the morning of our wedding day on the 26th December 2007. The day began from the groom’s home in Fanling, proceeding to Gold Coast hotel, and then the Ferry terminal No.9 at Central. The Chinese wedding began in the morning with my groomsmen and I having to “pass” some tests/challenges set by the bridesmaids before I could get to Ling, one of the challenges being that I had to pick the correct ribbon attached to Ling’s arm while she stood behind a door! Luckily I got it right the third time! Once I passed the tests, we carried out the tea ceremony with Ling wearing her “kua”…

Melaka Wedding Highlights of the Night video, Malaysia

This video below shows the highlights of the night in Melaka. It highlighted what happened during the evening wedding reception at Renaissance Hotel in Melaka. Through watching the video, I realise that Peter, our videographer, pays great attention to detail. One of the scenes that touched me is the one where Ling and myself were laughing, we then turned and looked at each other for a moment in the video. Peter captured that little moment, and froze it in the video. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9yJO6kK9uo]

Melaka Wedding Highlights of the Day video, Malaysia

This video below shows the highlights of the day in Melaka. It highlighted what we did during the day in Melaka. This video has a “the making of” style, how the photos for the day were taken. Melaka is very historical and scenic and it happened that there were a lot of “red” (lucky colour for Chinese people) walls there to match the ocassion. We would like to say thank you to our videographer Peter for making such a memorable video for us. [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZ1k5-fS4SM]

Melaka Wedding Highlights of the Day photo slideshow, Malaysia

The photo slideshow below summarises the morning of our wedding day in Malaysia. The morning began at the bride’s grandaunty (a “Nyonya”) home in Melaka, Malaysia followed by a photoshoot near St. Paul’s hill and Jongkar Walk in Melaka. A special memory was being able to sit the exact same trishaw (three-wheeled vehicle used in the older days) that we both sat in 2006 when we sat a trishaw for the first time. Ling wanted to find the same trishaw for the photoshoot, and our wish came true when within 5 minutes of the photoshoot, the trishaw uncle (owner) turned out right beside us! It was a magical moment. We…

A wonderful experience at Lynda and Omar's wedding

I am really happy that I took up the assignment of being the wedding photographer for Lynda and Omar. I still remember a week before Lynda and Omar’s wedding, Ling spotted an advert urgently seeking for a wedding photographer. At that time, I was still considering whether I should go for this job. Firstly, it is quite far away for us to travel because it is in London. Secondly, I had to take a day off from BT. I kept asking myself whether I should go for it. Something in their advert strikes to me as they were needing a wedding photographer pretty urgently, I had a strong feeling that…
