Membership of Wedding Photojournalist Association
Two days ago, I jumped from my seat when I saw an e-mail entitled “Welcome to the WPJA” from the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), a prestigious photography association based in the US. According to WPJA, only less than 5% of the world’s photographer get accepted into this association. The Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) is a professional organization composed of photojournalists and wedding photographers from around the world. What sets our members apart in the industry is their candid, documentary approach – a distinctly artistic vision toward wedding photography. Naomi & Howard – Wedding at The Gold Coast Hotel, Hong Kong
Naomi found my website in August last year. She e-mailed me to ask if I was going back to Hong Kong for a photoshoot. Coincidentally, I was! I enjoyed this photoshoot a lot as I got to photograph a wedding in Hong Kong for a change, and also there was such a beautiful sunset on the day. Naomi and Howard are a lovely couple. I wish you much happiness and love in your married lives.

Emma & Andrew – Wedding at Ramside Hall, Durham
On the 11th August, Saturday, we attended Emma and Andrew’s wedding. We arrived the Ramside Hall in Durham at 9:30am so that I could capture Andrew and Richard (his brother) preparing for the day. At 11:08am, we made our way to St. Michael’s Church. This was followed by a reception at the Ballroom of Ramside Hall. It is quite eye-opening to attend an English wedding; in a Chinese wedding the reception (banquet) is normally held in the evening whereas in an English wedding, it is held at lunchtime.
