Paris Pre-wedding photography – Kristy & Martin – P
I sometimes hear my clients saying “Paris is not unique for photo shoots anymore”. However, I still love Paris even though I have been here for more than 30 times. Paris is the most romantic city in the world, it was also the 1st place my wife and I travelled to when we started dating 🙂 The French people are straight-forward, direct and expressive. By looking at their architecture throughout the whole city, there is no question why they like to use art to express their emotions 🙂 I always tell my clients that it is not about the place we shoot or where we shoot. It is about how…

Gladys & Kevin – Pre-wedding/Engagement photoshoot in Paris – The Rain Series
In the past I have received e-mails from clients before their pre-wedding photo-shoot: “Ken, what if it rains?” “I do not want my pictures with rain in it”. I always tell them: Why are you afraid of the rain spoiling the image ? Kelly & Keith – Pre-wedding photoshoot in Paris
I recently posted a slideshow of Kelly and Keith in Paris – the photographs below are some of my favourites from the photoshoot. I would like to show something different of Paris this time, not the Eiffel Tower, not the Arc de Triomphe in the background, but something a little bit alternative. Who says that the sunset is the same everywhere in the world? In Paris, the sunset is soft and peaceful. Like a song. Like a river.

Vicky & Matthew – Pre-wedding shoot in Sorrento, Italy
I have been to Italy many times but this was the first time that I went to the Southern part of Italy. Thank you very much to Vicky and Matthew for bringing me to Sorrento, Italy. Sorrento is a lovely small town famous for its lemontrees (they were everywhere!) and seafood. As usual, I did not have a fixed route on the shooting day. I prefer this way as I love walking around and looking for interesting things to capture. We took a mini Cruise to Capri Island in the morning. It took about 20-30 minutes to travel to Capri, so it was not that bad as we got to…

Apple & Wah – Pre-wedding in Paris
Apple & Wah appreciates the importance of photography. I was told by Apple that she started to prepare for this pre-wedding shoot 3 months in advanced. She brought along 4 gowns and 1 evening dress. This excludes all her accessories. Imagine how heavy her suitcase was. The statue above is a real man!
