Liddy & Sean – Wedding at the Combe Bank School
This time, the wedding had taken me to Combe Bank School. This is the place where Liddy used to study when she was little. According to her, the school hasn’t changed much after she left. I am sure that she has lots of great memories there. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have chosen this special venue to get married. They both are such a lovely couple and a big fan of photography. It was also the first time I heard my client who mentioned Henri Cartier to me lol. They are so sincere as they travelled all the way from London to Newcastle (6 hours return trip) just to meet us and discuss…

Wedding at Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland – Janine & Luca
Phew. After several months of shooting weddings in Paris and Rome, I am very pleased to come ‘home’ (I hear Michael Bublé’s song – “Home” in the background :)) to photograph a long-awaited wedding at the Bamburgh Castle. Luca is a music producer and songwriter, whilst Janine is a model and actress, who has many credits to her name; she has appeared in Harry Potter: Goblet of Fire, Take That’s Shine video, and did a series of commercials for electronics giant – Whirlpool. In the commercials,…

Vicky & Matthew – Pre-wedding shoot in Sorrento, Italy
I have been to Italy many times but this was the first time that I went to the Southern part of Italy. Thank you very much to Vicky and Matthew for bringing me to Sorrento, Italy. Sorrento is a lovely small town famous for its lemontrees (they were everywhere!) and seafood. As usual, I did not have a fixed route on the shooting day. I prefer this way as I love walking around and looking for interesting things to capture. We took a mini Cruise to Capri Island in the morning. It took about 20-30 minutes to travel to Capri, so it was not that bad as we got to…

Sumana & Daniel – Wedding at Slaley Hall, Northumberland
This time, I had the opportunity to photograph an Indian wedding which was held in Slaley Hall, Northumberland. It was a truly magical and colourful wedding which was organised by Sumana & Daniel. I love every single moment during these two-day event. The most touching moment was to hear the speeches prepared by Sumana’s father and Daniel. Of course, all the other happy moments are still very vivid in my mind. However, it is very hard to write everything in the blog. I think it is better to show it through the photographs below. I feel very privileged and honoured to be part of the wedding and thank you very…
