One of the Best Wedding Photographer in the UK
My usual routine as a wedding photographer is to start my day checking e-mail about upcoming weddings, customer follow-up, or chase-up! With a busy schedule these days, it is sad to say that I hardly have the time to spend on entering any wedding photography competition, so it came as a nice surprise that I received a congratulatory note announcing that I am one of the best wedding photographer in the UK! Thank you Tom from The Eventa Group (a company that organises various corporate and group events including activity breaks, spa weekends, hen weekend activities at Hen Heaven, and stag dos for couples all over UK). Before this e-mail,…

Chinese Wedding at Lincoln Cathedral & Rushton Hall – Stella & Tommy
I first got to know Stella and Tommy through Vanessa and Wah, in 2010 when I was their wedding photographer Slaley Hall, Northumberland. I feel honoured to be able to photograph such a majestic venue such as Lincoln Cathedral which only allows two weddings to be held a year. Rushton Hall is just as unique. I was touched during the speeches given by the bridesmaid, Groomsmen. I was especially touched when Tommy mentioned my name during his emotional speech. It made all the hard work worth it. It was a emotional, wonderful and unforgettable day. This is definitely one of the most memorable weddings that I have shot this year. Thank you again to my couple,…

Chinese Wedding at The Hampton Court Palace, London
A few weeks ago, I had a wonderful opportunity to photograph a wedding at the Hampton Court Palace in London. It was a honour as it is a very grand venue for a castle wedding. The grounds of Hampton Court Palace is massive, so massive that we had to use a golf buggy to drive us around during the photo shoot session! The weather was unusually hot. Therefore, it was quite challenging. Amanda & Victor was very caring towards everybody including myself; they always made sure I enjoyed myself during the wedding (I was there to work!). I was arranged to sit alongside Amanda’s mother. I felt honoured and privileged…

Wedding at the Eastnor Castle – Janet & Ernest
Wedding ceremony: Great Malvern Priory Wedding venue: Eastnor Castle Is it necessary for a professional wedding photographer to make a visit to see the wedding venue before hand? When it comes to a wedding i.e Eastnor Castle which is 256 miles from Newcastle (where I am based), I prefer to arrive at least a day early, so that I could make a visit to look around the place and to prepare lighting setup, test on locations. Having said that, sometimes due to other work commitment I am unable to visit the wedding venues: Malvern Priory Church and Eastnor Castle where my couple Janet and Ernest got married at. Therefore, I…

Liddy & Sean – Wedding at the Combe Bank School
This time, the wedding had taken me to Combe Bank School. This is the place where Liddy used to study when she was little. According to her, the school hasn’t changed much after she left. I am sure that she has lots of great memories there. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have chosen this special venue to get married. They both are such a lovely couple and a big fan of photography. It was also the first time I heard my client who mentioned Henri Cartier to me lol. They are so sincere as they travelled all the way from London to Newcastle (6 hours return trip) just to meet us and discuss…
