Asta and Ian – Pre-wedding Photoshoot in Paris
Paris: is truly “the most romantic city in the world”. There is a somewhat mystical, dark and romantic feel to this beautiful European city. Everywhere you go, you see painting artists, people drinking coffee, couples holding hands, set against some stunning backdrops, Paris is indeed one special city. It has also proven to be the most popular destination for 2009 pre-weddings for my clients! 6 couples have chosen this city as their preferred pre-wedding location. The photos below show the first of these six couples: Asta and Ian.

The Wonders of Technology
I am on a train travelling to London. Sometimes, it is great to leave Newcastle for a short while to refresh the mind, body & soul 🙂 Sorry, I haven’t been blogging as often as I used to be. I have been busy sorting out many things in life plus wedding backlogs. One happy thing that I would love to share is that we met Sino and Gary yesterday (a client I took wedding photographs for at the Royal Station Hotel, Newcastle back in Sept last year). It was actually the first time they came to our home in Newcastle and to our surprise, they brought us some souvenirs from…

Wendy and Phi – Wedding photo slideshow for wedding at Greenwich, London
It has been a while since I updated my blog. Sorry everyone. This is the wedding photo slideshow of Wendy and Phi. I still remember everything that happened on their big day. Everywhere they went, I was so close to them. Therefore, I had many opportunities to capture their moments. It was a two-day job, Day One being the Civil Ceremony + pre-wedding photoshoot, and the Day Two being the Chinese Tea Ceremony (an important ceremony in a Chinese Wedding) + followed by the evening reception. As it was a 2-day photoshoot, it was physically quite demanding, but I enjoyed every second of it because Wendy and Phi were very co-operative for the pre-wedding potoshoot near Tower Bridge. I still remember that it was around -1°c but they could still endure an hour of photoshoot. Special mention also goes…

Ken Lam – Top 20 in the international AGWPJA 2008 Contest
I feel so happy to share this news with you. Two months ago, I submitted several pictures to the Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (AGWPJA) 2008 Q3 contest. It was my first time participating in this contest. The AGWPJA is for photographers who produces Fine Art Photojournalism. Out of my expectation, two of my photographs were ranked Top 20. I am very excited about this news as there were many excellent photos submitted from all over the world. This photo below was taken at the Wedding of Sum Yee and Adrian in the China Boulevard restaurant in London ranked 14th Place in Reception Ambiance category – AGWPJA Q3 2008 contest. As I went upstairs to pack my luggage getting ready to leave at 10:40 pm,…
