Carmen & Paul – Wedding at Colwick Hall Hotel, Nottingham
This is the second time I have been to Nottingham for a wedding. Carmen emailed me 8 months ago about my availability. Carmen & Paul are very caring people. Throughout the wedding, I noticed there were a lot of effort and preparation that have been put into the wedding especially items bought all the way from Hong Kong, like the Chinese lanterns used to decorate the marquee, the Dim Sum miniature bamboo basket as wedding favours, and the Chinese parasols. There were so many detail-shots to capture. Although the schedule was packed with activities throughout the wedding day, I still enjoyed it very much. My most memorable experience was to…

Lisa & Glenn – Wedding at Close House Hotel, Newcastle upon Tyne
Lisa is from Newcastle originally and Glenn is half Dutch, half English. Their story of how they met is a unique one – they did not meet in UK; but in Bahrain where they both work, a lovely country with a great sunshine. They planned this great wedding remotely from Bahrain! We only met each other a few days before the wedding day as Lisa & Glenn have been looking at my website from Bahrain and even the booking was done over the internet. Lisa is such a great organiser, as she is the Event Organiser for the Formula One (F1) in Bahrain – I still remember at our meeting,…

Sometimes they happen so quickly that with a bit of luck & observation, you are lucky enough to get the shot. The above is one of my most memorable shots this year. It was a moment after Lynne’s dad gave her a touching speech, and Lynne went over to give him a hug, but before long, she was overwhelmed with emotions and gratitude, and…

Dawn & Phil – Wedding at Langley Castle, Hexham
Dawn & Phil share a passion for travelling. After working hard for a number of years, Dawn & Phil decided to take a year out to explore the world. They visited Hong Kong, Malaysia, Cambodia, China, Thailand and many more. In a way, I feel that I have met Dawn & Phil before, maybe it is because they understand a bit about where I come from? Dawn & Phil’s wedding was held at the beautiful Langley Castle in Hexham. Warm, cosy affair with lace & candles as the wedding’s Vintage theme. Each guests’ table was named after the place that they have travelled together, and a photograph of themselves at…
