Wedding at The Slaley Hall – Vanessa & Wah
Between July and August, we have been away for wedding assignments in Provence, Prague, Lake District, Edinburgh, Venice, Florence, Paris and London. Therefore, we only had limited access of internet. We are sorry for the delay in responding to all our customers. 🙁 This wedding assignment has taken me back to Newcastle for 2 days. Vanessa & Wah decided to have their wedding in 2 separate days. The first day is Chinese style of wedding and the second day is more the western style of wedding. After Wah and his ushers were humiliated by the bridesmaids from the door games. It came to the Chinese ceremony at Vanessa’s home. One…

Wedding at the Eastnor Castle – Janet & Ernest
Wedding ceremony: Great Malvern Priory Wedding venue: Eastnor Castle Is it necessary for a professional wedding photographer to make a visit to see the wedding venue before hand? When it comes to a wedding i.e Eastnor Castle which is 256 miles from Newcastle (where I am based), I prefer to arrive at least a day early, so that I could make a visit to look around the place and to prepare lighting setup, test on locations. Therefore, I…

Liddy & Sean – Wedding at the Combe Bank School
This time, the wedding had taken me to Combe Bank School. This is the place where Liddy used to study when she was little. According to her, the school hasn’t changed much after she left. I am sure that she has lots of great memories there. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have chosen this special venue to get married. They both are such a lovely couple and a big fan of photography. It was also the first time I heard my client who mentioned Henri Cartier to me lol. They are so sincere as they travelled all the way from London to Newcastle (6 hours return trip) just to meet us and discuss…

Wedding at Bamburgh Castle, Northumberland – Janine & Luca
Phew. After several months of shooting weddings in Paris and Rome, I am very pleased to come ‘home’ (I hear Michael Bublé’s song – “Home” in the background :)) to photograph a long-awaited wedding at the Bamburgh Castle. It is a huge privilege to have the opportunity to meet and photograph the wedding of Janine & Luca, a multi-talented yet down-to-earth couple. Luca is a music producer and songwriter, whilst Janine is a model and actress, who has many credits to her name; she has appeared in Harry Potter: Goblet of Fire, Take That’s Shine video, and did a series of commercials for electronics giant – Whirlpool. In the commercials,…
