Kodak Wedding and Portrait Awards 2009 Finalists
We are pleased to say that two of Ken’s prints have been selected as finalists in a Kodak Wedding and Portrait Awards 2009. This is his first attempt to enter such a prestigious competition. Over 2000+ prints were entered into this competition, therefore, it was really tough to get through to this final stage. He is very delighted to be amongst the top 20 in the finals to get the Kodak Wedding Photographer of the Year 2009 title, and being the only photographer from the North East in the final as well. Yvonne & Simon – Pre-wedding in Paris
Just as I think that I have seen all of Paris and its buildings & landmarks, I am often surprised to find new places to photograph there. There is just something about Paris. Its architecture, art, food, history, museums, cafes. That’s why it is hard not to fall in love with Paris. No wonder my clients Yvonne & Simon chose Paris for their pre-wedding photoshoot location. Yvonne & Simon are a great couple. They flew in all the way from Hong Kong to have their pre-wedding photoshoot here, and I am very honoured to be able to capture their memories in Paris for them. Carmen & Paul – Wedding at Colwick Hall Hotel, Nottingham
This is the second time I have been to Nottingham for a wedding. Carmen emailed me 8 months ago about my availability. Carmen & Paul are very caring people. Throughout the wedding, I noticed there were a lot of effort and preparation that have been put into the wedding especially items bought all the way from Hong Kong, like the Chinese lanterns used to decorate the marquee, the Dim Sum miniature bamboo basket as wedding favours, and the Chinese parasols.
