Around a year ago, my wife had a reunion with one of her old friends, Shirley Kong from high school. They were both at the same school in Brunei, but we were especially surprised when she told us that she was also based in Newcastle (same city as us!) Alex and Michelle from Hong Kong wanted to photograph their pre-wedding in Europe, and they asked me for my personal view on a good pre-wedding location. I instantly thought about my second home… Newcastle. Having lived here for 4 years, I have grown to love Newcastle and its friendly local people, known as the “Geordies”. After my photoshoot in Paris, my next stop was Rome. Like Paris, Rome is one of the visited cities in the world because of its timeless beauty, unique culture and rich history.
