Around a year ago, my wife had a reunion with one of her old friends, Shirley Kong from high school. They were both at the same school in Brunei, but we were especially surprised when she told us that she was also based in Newcastle (same city as us!) Paris: is truly “the most romantic city in the world”. There is a somewhat mystical, dark and romantic feel to this beautiful European city. Everywhere you go, you see painting artists, people drinking coffee, couples holding hands, set against some stunning backdrops, Paris is indeed one special city. You never know what you have until it is gone.
