A Fairytale Wedding Photography at Doxford Barns, Alnwick
Doxford Barns Wedding This is the fairytale Doxford Barns wedding of Allison and Graeme, a beautiful barn wedding venue nestled within a private 550-acre country estate, along the Northumberland coast near Alnwick. I remember clearly that before the wedding, I made a visit to Doxford Barns to discuss with Allison and Graeme how the wedding would take place. The drive to Doxford Barns was extremely relaxing – taking in the sights of the Northumberland countryside, and wildlife: horses, cows and sheeps, as I drove along in the perfect sunshine. My assistant said that if this was her wedding venue, her guests would be in for a treat just from the drive…

Jesmond Dene House Wedding Photography, Newcastle
I am so pleased when Jessica and Ceri asked me to be their wedding photographer at their wedding at the Jesmond Dene House in Newcastle, 4 days before Christmas. It was such a magical occasion. The timing of the wedding could not have been better, the spirit of Christmas was felt all over Jesmond Dene House. There were large sized Nutcrackers soldiers, a huge Christmas tree, beautifully decorated with fairy lights and Christmas baubles, while guests drank mulled wine during the drinks reception. It was a special and emotional day indeed. They say it is the little details that make your wedding ‘yours’, this is true when Ceri placed a bottle of Whiskey (his late father’s…

Wedding at the Cuisine Cuisine IFC, Hong Kong – Clara & Tang
At the bottom of this page, you will see the same day edited wedding slideshow. The last time I update my blog would be half a year ago 🙁 It is because of the convenience which I choose to update our Facebook page more often. It doesn’t mean I have given up blogging. 🙂 Few days ago, I did a wedding at the Cuisine Cuisine IFC 中環國金軒, Hong Kong. Before I go into much details about this wedding. I just want to point out that we do not simply take up wedding job offer here in HK. It is very hard to explain why I decided to fly back probably because…

Liddy & Sean – Wedding at the Combe Bank School
This time, the wedding had taken me to Combe Bank School. This is the place where Liddy used to study when she was little. According to her, the school hasn’t changed much after she left. I am sure that she has lots of great memories there. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have chosen this special venue to get married. They both are such a lovely couple and a big fan of photography. It was also the first time I heard my client who mentioned Henri Cartier to me lol. They are so sincere as they travelled all the way from London to Newcastle (6 hours return trip) just to meet us and discuss…

Carrie & Allan – Pre-wedding in Manchester
Carrie and Alan do not come from the same country. One from HK and another one from China. It is always a big challenge to keep such a long distance relationship. I believe it is not easy but I am confident their relationship will blossom. It was all set in Manchester. This is the place which Carrie and Alan met each other. On the day, we didn’t have many plans. So, the couple decided to take me to where they used to go i.e. Indian street, Manchester City Hall. Many people have told me that we do not usually get good weather in Manchester. The couple was worrying about this…
