Sam and Reuben by kenlamphotography I was very pleased when Sam and Reuben asked me to be their wedding photographer for their beautiful wedding, held at the St. James Church in Riding Mill, followed by the reception at Beamish Park Hotel. As the saying goes, it is a small world afterall. Sam comes from Hong Kong and Reuben, from Bombey. They met in the UK, at a mutual friend’s gathering. Since meeting Sam and finishing his studies at Sunderland University, Reuben did not want to move back to Bombey. Wendy & Phi – Wedding in Greenwich, London
Wedding registry: Greenwich Registry office Wedding dinner: Peninsula Chinese Restaurant, Holiday Inn Express, North Greenwich – London Wendy is half Vietnamese and Phi is Vietnamese. They are very easy going and caring. During the outdoor photoshoot in the evening, it was so cold. However, they both were so brave to have their photos taken in a icy cold weather in London! I have to take my hat off for both of you. I think it was around 5 degree celscius. Thank God we had Sang who kept serving us with hot tea brought in a flask to keep us warm. Thank you so much Sang.

Sam & Reuben – Wedding at Beamish Park Hotel, Newcastle
Found these seashells from a display set in the newly wed’s home. Could these be mementos from a romantic holiday they had together? I thought that it was nice to match these up with the wedding rings. Sam is a teacher and Reuben is professional videographer. Sam comes from Hong Kong and Reuben comes from Bombey in India. During the speech, Reuben’s boss asked why of all places in UK he chose to study at Sunderland University! 🙂
