Around a year ago, my wife had a reunion with one of her old friends, Shirley Kong from high school. They were both at the same school in Brunei, but we were especially surprised when she told us that she was also based in Newcastle (same city as us!) Michelle & Alex – Pre-wedding in Newcastle, England
Alex and Michelle from Hong Kong wanted to photograph their pre-wedding in Europe, and they asked me for my personal view on a good pre-wedding location. I instantly thought about my second home… Newcastle. Having lived here for 4 years, I have grown to love Newcastle and its friendly local people, known as the “Geordies”. With some spectacular night scenes, including the bridges of Newcastle (around 11 of them across River Tyne!), the historic castles and cathedrals that were used in Harry Potter films, the coastline with the unique St. Mary’s Island (separated from the mainland by a little pathway), and the Newcastle Central Train Station – one of the oldest train station in Europe. Asta and Ian – Pre-wedding Photoshoot in Paris
Paris: is truly “the most romantic city in the world”. There is a somewhat mystical, dark and romantic feel to this beautiful European city. Everywhere you go, you see painting artists, people drinking coffee, couples holding hands, set against some stunning backdrops, Paris is indeed one special city. It has also proven to be the most popular destination for 2009 pre-weddings for my clients! 6 couples have chosen this city as their preferred pre-wedding location.
