Wedding at Castle Bromwich Hall
It has been a LONG time since I last updated this blog. If this was a house, it would have probably gathered cobwebs! Life has been super busy keeping up with my photography work. Well, I do not think that we can ever truly stop. After all, time does not stand still, but, we can choose to allocate time for activities that are meaningful to us. After a nice little break from blogging, I have now gathered up new energy. I am ready to present you with the photographs from a wonderful two-day wedding celebration of Cindy and Alex. Most modern Chinese couples now celebrate their wedding over two days, in order…

Beautiful Marquee Wedding at Darlington, Northumberland
Wedding Photographer at Darlington Marquee Wedding, Northumberland, UK It could not have been a more beautiful day for Nicola and Damon to have their wedding at Darlington, in the wilderness of Northumberland. What an incredible wedding venue to have the wedding, a marquee set up in Nicola’s mum’s garden! I feel so grateful to get to come and photograph the wedding of a Carver family member for the third time. It is always nice to turn up at a wedding and to see familiar and friendly faces. I knew Nicola through her sister, Rachel, when I was Rachel’s wedding photographer at Rockliffe Hall. I was recommended to Rachel, by Henry her…

Game of Thrones Wedding Photography at Lumley Castle
WOW! Shirley and I had such an amazing time as the wedding photographers for Cat and Jon at their “Game of Throne” themed wedding, and Lumley Castle was just the perfect setting. In the morning, we were greeted by bridesmaids in Victorian outfits and we already had a feeling that this would eventually turn out to be a rather unique wedding. As Cat was having her make-up done, she began to show us her “Irregular Choice” wedding shoes, which had a groom and a bride on each side of the heel. They were incredible shoes! The day followed on smoothly, and the ceremony was made more magical with the addition of a Barn Owl that handed…

Rockliffe Hall Wedding Photography – Jenna and James
I am so grateful for the work that I get through word of mouth. This time, Henry, my previous client of whom I did their wedding photographs at Lartington Hall, has very kindly recommended me to his colleague Jenna, for her wedding at Rockliffe Hall. It was a magical day; we were very lucky to have fantastic weather and lovely natural light during the day. It could not have been a better day for a wedding. Jenna looked gorgeous on the day in her white dress, and James the groom also looked very much the part. They make a beautiful couple. It was an emotional moment, when Jenna’s father became teary…

Jesmond Dene House Wedding Photography, Newcastle
I am so pleased when Jessica and Ceri asked me to be their wedding photographer at their wedding at the Jesmond Dene House in Newcastle, 4 days before Christmas. It was such a magical occasion. The timing of the wedding could not have been better, the spirit of Christmas was felt all over Jesmond Dene House. There were large sized Nutcrackers soldiers, a huge Christmas tree, beautifully decorated with fairy lights and Christmas baubles, while guests drank mulled wine during the drinks reception. It was a special and emotional day indeed. They say it is the little details that make your wedding ‘yours’, this is true when Ceri placed a bottle of Whiskey (his late father’s…
