Game of Thrones Wedding Photography at Lumley Castle
WOW! Shirley and I had such an amazing time as the wedding photographers for Cat and Jon at their “Game of Throne” themed wedding, and Lumley Castle was just the perfect setting. In the morning, we were greeted by bridesmaids in Victorian outfits and we already had a feeling that this would eventually turn out to be a rather unique wedding. As Cat was having her make-up done, she began to show us her “Irregular Choice” wedding shoes, which had a groom and a bride on each side of the heel. They were incredible shoes! The day followed on smoothly, and the ceremony was made more magical with the addition of a Barn Owl that handed…

Woodhill Hall Wedding Photography – Ken Lam Photography
Countryside wedding Karen and Paul chose to get married at the beautiful Woodhill Hall in Northumberland, an entirely exclusive venue that caters for weddings only. It is a very unique concept, as most venues in the North-East / Northumberland are castles or hotels that run on every other day when there are no weddings. It is such an exquisite countryside wedding. I always feel flattered to be picked by a couple to be their wedding photographer, and to be picked by a very kind couple such as Karen and Paul (and their lovely families) is both a privilege and a blessing. Rockliffe Hall Wedding Photography – Rachel & Kalumn
Rockliffe Hall Wedding Photography After two weeks of travels in Italy for destination weddings, I was back in the beautiful region where I live, the North of England. This time, I was at Rockliffe Hall for my last wedding photography assignment in August. Rachel & Kalumn is such a loving and fun couple and very easy to work with. A gorgeous couple.

Beamish Hall Wedding – Shafto Hall and Winter Gardens
Writing this post brings back fond memories of the day we met Mr. and Mrs. Chipchase – the lovely parents of the groom, Matthew. When we first met Mrs Chipchase, she explained that she was meeting wedding photographers for her son’s wedding at Beamish Hall, and after what happened to her elder son’s wedding, she wanted to make sure this time, she finds the right photographer! No pressure! 🙂 We were very pleased that Mrs Chipchase said she liked us 🙂 She liked that I was very passionate in what I do, as a wedding photographer. The feelings were mutual, Shirley (my assistant) and I like Mrs Chipchase very much; she oozes elegance…

Lumley Castle Wedding Photography – Rebecca & Graeme
It has been an absolute pleasure to be the wedding photographer for Rebecca and Graeme at their beautiful wedding at Lumley Castle. It is true that every wedding is unique and this one is no different. Rebecca and Graeme’s wedding is one of the most heart-warming weddings I have ever had the honour to witness. It was especially touching when Graeme said during his wedding speech: “I am not sure if Rebecca has become more like me, or I more like her, but I know that we are meant to be…” Both Graeme and Rebecca are such down to earth couple, that it made the day even more magical. Even…
