Carrie & Victor – Wedding at Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The wedding of Carrie and Victor was a memorable one. It was my first time to attend a wedding with over 600+ guests. I feel honoured to be their wedding photographer. During this wedding assignment, I also got to meet Wong, another wedding photographer from Kid Chan Studio in Kuala Lumpur. Although we didn’t have much time for chat, it was lovely to work with another photographer from Asia. Carrie and Victor had put in tremendous efforts in planning this wedding because they wanted to give the best to their wedding guests. Every detail of the wedding have been carefully planned – invitation cards, wedding favours, march-in, the venue. The moment I walked into the wedding reception at…

Wedding at Longhirst Hall, Morpeth – Julia & Chris
I was over the moon when Julia and Chris booked me as their wedding photographer at Longhirst Hall, Morpeth. I recall Julia said that she was very worried whether the wedding would go on as it was flooding all over in Morpeth a day before their wedding day. There were many places covered in water. Luckily, it did not affect Longhirst Hall at all. The wedding must go on…! Wedding date: 7th Sept, 2008 Wedding ceremony and reception: Longhirst Hall, Morpeth As my work has kept me very busy, we had a funny conversation that morning that went like this: Julia said: “Ken, I am so relieved, I thought you wouldn’t come. Ken said: Why makes you think I…

Becky & Padraic – Wedding at Wedderburn Castle, Scotland
Becky and Padraic are both from Ireland. They contacted me back in March this year. They were referred by Maureen who attended Lynda and Omar’s wedding in Sept, 2007. I was so excited when I heard that their wedding was going to be held inside Wedderburn Castle in Duns, Scotland. The castle and lands of Wedderburn have been in the hands of the Home (the owners’ family name) family from the 14th century to this day. The Wedderburn Castle is almost 600 years old! My favourite shot of the day!!!

Gloria and Johnny – Engagement photoshoot slideshow in London
I am not sure if you still remember Gloria and Johnny. They are such a lovely and fun loving couple. I still remember how Johnny kneeled down and formally proposed to Gloria. It was such a emotional moment. I feel honoured to be able to witness this moment. Last but not least, I wish you both a happy life together and good luck in your wedding preparation in Hong Kong. Here is the slideshow from the engagement (pre-wedding) photoshoot we had in London. I hope you like it! [dailymotion id=x6wnra]

Ivy and Ming – Pre-wedding/Engagement Photoshoot in Newcastle
Ivy and Ming are both from Hong Kong. They booked me over the internet and we met each other only a day before the photo shoot. However, it didn’t affect the progress at all. Although it was raining most of the time, we had lots of fun during the day. They used to study in Newcastle. That was the reason why they chose Newcastle as their favourite location for pre-wedding photo shoot. Ming told me that Ivy loves the Newcastle Tyne Bridge. As a Newcastle based photographer, it is quite rare to meet someone from far who love Newcastle as well. We chose several locations for photoshoot including St Mary’s Lighthouse , Sage – Gateshead…
