Rockliffe Hall Wedding Photography – Jenna and James
I am so grateful for the work that I get through word of mouth. This time, Henry, my previous client of whom I did their wedding photographs at Lartington Hall, has very kindly recommended me to his colleague Jenna, for her wedding at Rockliffe Hall. It was a magical day; we were very lucky to have fantastic weather and lovely natural light during the day. It could not have been a better day for a wedding. Jenna looked gorgeous on the day in her white dress, and James the groom also looked very much the part. They make a beautiful couple. It was an emotional moment, when Jenna’s father became teary…

Lartington Hall Wedding Photography – Ashley & Henry
I was very pleased when Henry asked if I could be his wedding photographer for his wedding at Lartington Hall, Barnard Castle, County Durham. When Henry told me his best man is famous rugby player Alex Tait, who plays for the Newcastle Falcons (whose brother Matthew Tait also a rugby player for England in the World Cup), I was more excited and looking forward to the day. Henry and I first made contact in March last year. Henry e-mailed asking if I could take some photographs of when he proposes to his girlfriend, Ashley. We exchanged a few e-mails about how we would carry out my “secret mission” and the location of the…

Newcastle Pre-wedding Photography – Alvin & Maria
Pre-wedding photography in Newcastle I was excited when Alvin (a friend of a previous client Wah) contacted me to be his pre-wedding photographer in Newcastle. Newcastle never fails to impress me with what it has to offer in terms of natural yet authentic photographic backgrounds. From the historical Alnwick Castle (Alnwick castle was “Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry” in the first two Harry Potter films), the peaceful beaches in surrounding Northumberland areas, and the magnificent Barter Books, one of Britain’s largest secondhand bookstore inside Alnwick’s old Victorian Railway Station. Newcastle really has got the best of every world. Recently, Grey Street in Newcastle City Centre has also become the filming…

Pre-wedding at Beamish Woods – Lauren & Lee
Beamish Woods Engagement I instantly liked Lauren (bride-to-be) and her mum when we met at a wedding fair last year. At the time Lauren was there to search for a wedding photographer for her wedding at Beamish Park Hotel. When she came over, Lauren looked through my work carefully and politely. I was not sure if she liked what she saw, thankfully she sent an e-mail that night to say she would like to book! 🙂 Later on, I got to meet her fiance Lee. I knew that I have a wonderful couple to work with. They are one of the most genuine and kind couple that I have ever met. Lee and Lauren had suggested Causey Arch and…

Jesmond Dene House Wedding Photography, Newcastle
I am so pleased when Jessica and Ceri asked me to be their wedding photographer at their wedding at the Jesmond Dene House in Newcastle, 4 days before Christmas. It was such a magical occasion. The timing of the wedding could not have been better, the spirit of Christmas was felt all over Jesmond Dene House. There were large sized Nutcrackers soldiers, a huge Christmas tree, beautifully decorated with fairy lights and Christmas baubles, while guests drank mulled wine during the drinks reception. It was a special and emotional day indeed. They say it is the little details that make your wedding ‘yours’, this is true when Ceri placed a bottle of Whiskey (his late father’s…
